How it works
From PNR to better seat in minutes.
No haggling in the aisle. EzySeat finds the right person, both of you agree, and you swap with confidence.
Step 1
Add your trip
Enter your 10-digit train PNR — we fetch your coach and berths live. No luck? Paste your IRCTC SMS or type the details. For flights, add your flight and seat.
Your PNR is encrypted immediately and deleted 48 hours after the trip.
Step 2
Tell us what you'd like
For each passenger: a lower berth, sit with a family member, a window… or 'happy to help' if you don't mind moving. You can change this any time.
Travelling as a woman? Turn on women-only matching.
Step 3
We match you — and keep matching
The moment someone on your train or flight fits, you get an email (and SMS). We keep looking as more travellers join, when the chart is prepared, and even on board.
Matching stops 2 hours before your arrival (30 min before a flight departs).
Step 4
Both accept → it's confirmed
Pick one option or several. The first swap you both accept is confirmed and the others close automatically.
Nobody is ever moved without saying yes.
Step 5
Coordinate & swap on board
Chat inside EzySeat to plan the meet-up. On board, swap seats and let the TTE or cabin crew know — seat changes are at their discretion.
Your phone number stays private unless you share it.
Step 6
Changed your mind?
Ask to cancel. When your partner approves, you both go back to your original seats and back into matching. No reply in 12 hours? It's approved automatically.
After a cancellation you can swap again.
Family reunion
Booked together, seated apart? Not for long.
Pick who to sit with. We look for travellers already in that bay who'd trade into your family member's seat — and move people one by one until you're together.
- Works across coaches (B1 → B2)
- Same bay or just the same coach — your choice
- Each move still needs both travellers to agree

We'll keep you posted — never spammed.
Instant alerts when it matters (a match, a yes, a cancel request, a chart update). Everything else is limited to a few emails a day, and never between 10 pm and 7 am unless your train is about to leave.
